Founded in 1984, the Saginaw Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life in Saginaw County by linking donor interests with the community’s most pressing needs and promising opportunities. The foundation administers more than 655 charitable funds and 248 scholarships. Since our inception, more than $52 million has been granted to programs and projects that benefit Saginaw County residents. Applications run from November 1 until the due date.
The Saginaw Social Service Club, established in 1936, provides this scholarship in memory of Norman Osborne. The Saginaw Social Service Club's goals are to promote social work, the exchange of ideas and information on social questions, and the development of professional relationships to enhance public service. Applicants must be a Saginaw County resident with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a human service field. Applicants must be at least a college sophomore at the time of the application. Dollar amounts will vary.
