Applying because I have committed to play football and to continue my academic career at Hobart College. This is a pricy college and my family is not eligible for financial aid. This scholarship would go a long way considering my plans are to attend graduate school following my 4 years at Hobart.

I am applying to this scholarship to relieve my mother of the burden of paying my school fees. My mother has worked hard, sacrificing her hard earned money to instead put me in private educational institutions all my life. I, now, want her to be able to spend her money on herself. I don't want her to have to struggle to pay for schools that I get into that have high tuition fees just so that I can succeed, but I also don't want money to deter me from going to the school of my dreams. This scholarship will put my worries to rest, so that both my mother and I can be happy.

I wish to apply for this scholarship because i want to make a change. This change may not be much of importance to many but it would mean the world to me. From a young age i’ve known that i’ve wanted to go to college, and do more with my life than just a simple high school degree. I know i can’t afford college and the experience i wish to go through. Although, with this money i could be one step closer to being the first in my family to graduate college. I’d show what one can accomplish with sheer hope and effort.

Amony P  on 12/5/2019 8:51:57 AM

My mom had to take care of 3 kids all by her self since I was 4, we moved around a lot due to her having to get new jobs to help provide for us. At some point we had to stay with my aunt because we were put out of our house. I'm 17 now, I got my first job when I was a Junior in high school in order to pay dues and get my senior pictures taken, i purchased my first phone with the money I earned for work. I mainly got a job to help pay for everything included in my senior year package such a senior due which are really pricy but had to be paid for or I wouldn't graduate. I paid deposits for college and applications. I am applying for this scholarship not only for myself but to help my mom. This money would help cover something anything but every penny counts and I wont stop at any moment applying for scholarships and grants because i'm hopeful that someday it will pay off no pun intended.

The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise was a "Sith legend" that was relayed to Anakin Skywalker by Palpatine, telling of his master, Darth Plagueis. Plagueis, the legend went, was "so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life," and even save others from dying.

LaPrecious L  on 11/15/2019 11:10:49 AM

College. It's the reason for the application. For support for college finances and to avoid loans (nasty things they are).

Eddie P  on 11/13/2019 12:36:46 PM

Finally, a scholarship concentrating on what success is based on in or modern society. Creativity and ingenuity are what most classes in Universitys teach and expect from their students. With the added touch of an open subject, anyone can sink their teeth into. Surprisingly, coming from my favorite place to consume a ridiculous amount of calories. I will defiantly apply.

Timothy F  on 11/12/2019 1:13:19 PM

I am applying for college and this scholarship would help not only with room and board, but everything else I need to help me pursue my goal of getting a career in Aerospace engineering and competing in collegiate sports. This scholarship would help my family and I with the college expenses.

I’m curious to know if I would still be allowed to apply for this scholarship, given that I am an employee at a Taco Bell located near my community college. This would be an amazing opportunity to help with tuition and any other fees I have as a college student.

Nancy V  on 10/25/2019 11:17:35 AM

I am extremely amazed that you guys are giving a scholarship, Thank you for helping students going in to college and making a difference in the world. And I would love to have the chance to win this scholarship for the reason that I want to become a Archaeologist and include more occupations to this career. Like Travel blogger, anthropology, geography and so much more to make this career amazing. With the help of this scholarship I could also include Public Health if given the chance because I love helping people.

Braylon J  on 10/18/2019 12:03:14 PM

I am so excited and so elated to start this new chapter in my life! As I'm writing this comment, I am devouring a mexican pizza combo with my favorite accompanying drink, a baha blast. I am applying for this scholarship not only to be able to further my career as a performer in fine arts, but to hopefully be able to pay and accomplish my artistic dreams. Due to me being the middle child in my family, my parents are already struggling to pay for college for my older siblings, so receiving this scholarship would enable me to help take the load off of my parents and increase the chance for my younger siblings to be able to go to college. Receiving this scholarship would mean the world to me and my family and also prive to my parents that all the Taco Bell I have forced them to get me was finally worth it in the end.

I am extremely excited to apply for this scholarship. As I apply to college, I am looking ahead at the future, a future that includes me diving into one of the largest events in the world. In order to do this, I would need help financially, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to receive such a life changing scholarship from one of my favorite restaurants' foundation. I am ready to do great things with the help of this scholarship.

Brendan G  on 10/12/2019 2:57:50 PM

I look forward to going to college and studying Robotics with a minor in music, but I don't have the necessary resources. While browsing, I found a Taco Bell scholarship, I love Taco Bell food, eat it all the time, so it made sense to apply to see if through them I can also receive help for my studies.

Janee B  on 10/9/2019 8:47:12 AM

I am applying for the Taco Bell Scholarship to help give back to the people in a artistic way. This means that my goal is to be a choreographer and help people who want to learn how to interpret their voices into movement. Choreography isn’t easy and you have to allow the mind to be creative. When sharing my knowledge of choreographing I can inspire others to have creative ideas. Also, to help them appreciate that the mind is a wonderful place.

Logan B  on 10/1/2019 9:17:23 AM

I am applying for this opportunity presented by taco bell because like alot of us who are applying cannot afford to the college we want to attend. I have not been the greatest student when it comes to academics but I have recently gotten the chance to compete for Belmont Abbeys Esports team. Never in my life would I think I get to compete for a school playing video games and chasing my passion or let alone even get to go to college! Thank you for this amazing opportunity to make our families proud and most importantly make ourselves proud!

Lynsey B  on 9/25/2019 11:07:40 AM

I applied to this scholarship like others in these comments, money has been a hardship especially living in southern Mississippi I'm wanting to be an artist, musical artist, and music therapy. I'm a senior in high school trying to plan ahead for my future and want to attend a small community college for which i am terrified of crowds. If I do win this scholarship it will mean a whole lot to me it will mean all my dreams coming true.

I applied to this scholarship like many others in these comments, money has been a struggle especially living in California, even trying to pay rent is difficult. I'm wanting to be a video game designer, concept artist, and 3d modeling. It has always been a dream to be working at the big dogs like Blizzard Entertainment or Riot Games. I'm a junior in high school trying to plan ahead for my future and wanting to attend Laguna College of Art. If I do win this scholarship it will mean a whole lot to me it will mean all my dreams coming true. Thank you all for this opportunity and I wish all the other people who applied good luck!

I would like to thank the company for taking the time to read my statement. I am in my 30s looking forward to go back to college in hopes of finishing my Bachelors. I was working on a bachelors degree in Health Management when life threw me a curve ball. From my own mistakes and choices in my life that I had made, I was unable to complete my bachelors degree. I am not going to give you the time of a sad story stating on why I hope that maybe given the chance without taking more student loans out, could succeed in life. I would like to leave this earth without leaving my children to figure out how to pay my student loan debts. Its really appreciated, even if I don't get the opportunity, and someone else does. Thank you for your time.

I am applying for this scholarship because of my inability to pay for college. My family can't afford to have a freshman in College while trying to pay back the college debt from their terms in College; it would be to hard for my parents. I love them with all my heart and I want to succeed with my own degree and education in order to help them live out the rest of their years in comfort. They have given so many things up for me to keep me well and happy and I want to do the same back. But I can't do that without any financial assistance from scholarships. I'm applying for this scholarship to make my parents proud of their son and to help them relax in their golden years as I grow up to be a successful person.

Isaiah G  on 9/10/2019 9:22:16 PM

I am applying for this scholarship because my parents will not be helping me pay for college. There is not enough income for them to help and be able to sustain the rest of my family. My father also doesn't believe in college, so that is only more incentive for him not to help me. This scholarship will help me have a better , less stressful future, and will go toward me becoming a teacher. This not my father doesn't like this and talks of how the education system is not how it should be and honestly I agree. The reason I want to become a teacher is because I want to be one of the teachers for future generations to look forward to the class. To spark creativity in children's minds. If I could get this scholarship it would bring me so much closer to my dream.

My father has polycystic kidney disease. He cannot live without proper dialysis every night, and he cannot do many physical things. This leads to him not being able to work, and having to rely on disability to survive. While he is on the kidney transplant list, there is only so much he can do before his kidneys completely fail. My goal is to graduate college with a biology degree, and have my dad see me walk the stage before he passes. I have no other way to pay for college other than student loans since he is on disability. This scholarship will tremendously help me as I fight to graduate in time for him to see.

I'd like to apply for this scholarship because it will help me greatly financially. My family isn't going to pay for my college so I will have to pay for it and applying for this scholarship, it gives me a chance to receive a better future for myself as a student dealing with student loan debt, and to be able to become a Neonatal Nurse. ( Which becoming a Neonatal Nurse is my passion)

I am applying for this scholarship for a variety of reasons. As a first generation future college student, African American, and senior in high school, any considerable amount of financial aid is tremendous help for my family and I. The more help ad aid I can get opens a greater amount of opportunities for me and like-minded students like me who work hard despite the challenges they may face along the way. Living in a single-parent household, and a child of a divorced family, financial aid and scholarships will play a key role in helping me pay for university funds which, more often than not, make a difference between going to a four year university and a two-year degree college. Applying for the Taco Bell Live Mas scholarship will enable me to attend a four year degree college and graduate with a degree in a subject of my choice. Not to mention , i currently work at my local Taco Bell.

Sarah A  on 9/7/2019 5:53:01 PM

I would absolutely love to apply for the Taco Bell Live Mas scholarship. It would greatly help my family and I with our financial situation. I come from a Hispanic heritage with two blue collar working parents. They have taught me about the importance of hard work and striving to become a better version of myself everyday. I plan to make my family proud by attending a university to major in computer science. Winning this scholarship money would lift weight off of my family's shoulder, and would help me to take a step closer to achieving my goals. I truly wish everyone applying for this amazing opportunity good luck!

Sarh A  on 9/7/2019 11:15:25 AM

I come from a family and being their first child to go to a college to get a bachelors degree. My parents sacrificed everything and had to leavin their families, house and business in Jordan. They worked really hard for us in order to provide us with a better future and not go through tough times like they did. I am planning on being a UN interpeter and to be able help people around the world. And I would like to make my parents to be proud of me and to make sure they live a happy life after what they did to me.

Massiullah R  on 9/7/2019 12:46:51 AM

To whom it may concern Hi, I am Massi and I am currently a sophomore and transferring to University of Arizona in the spring 2020. Currently I am completing my Dental School prerequisites and my associates of science to major in Public Health. Being a first generation to get a degree is very exciting, however paying for university will be challenging. I do not expect free money, but my situation is difficult and I have a dream to become a dentist. I plan on to work on campus and hopefully get accepted for this scholarship. I started out from a Community College due to financial reasons and now that I have finished my general studies I have to transfer to University. I am thinking about not going to school, so I can support myself or hopefully receive this scholarship which will be enough to pay for my major. I really appreciate this opportunity and Thank You!

Mia S  on 9/6/2019 2:21:35 PM

I come from a Hispanic family that doesn't have that much money to help pay for college. My parents are constantly working to maintain the things we have back home. Despite not being very wealthy, my parents are constantly pushing me to go after my ambitions and work hard. In the future, I would like to become a successful mechanical engineer and this scholarship would help me make that into a reality. If I were to win even a fraction of this scholarship money it would help ease money issues involving college funds. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enter.

I plan on applying for this scholarship because it will help my family and I financially. I am the second person in my family to go to college and since I live in single income family it is hard for us to pay for two tuitions. hopefully this scholarship can help me and my family by taking some of the stress away so I can continue to go to school and not have to worry as much about our financial situation.

Matthew D  on 8/29/2019 9:39:15 AM

I plan on applying for this scholarship to be the first in my family to go to college and graduate. I plan to become a Theatre Director for a High School in my home town. I will love to apply to the Taco Bell Live Más Scholarship because i'm the seven out of nine children. I come from a background with no help, in our household it was every man for him or herself. I feel like this Scholarship would help me in my field of study which is nursing. Taking out a loan would not help with my current medical bills. This would help me in so many ways with my classes and being a student this school year also with being alone with my FASFA. Winning this Scholarship would help me financially and also with my classes. This Scholarship would mean the world to me.

Viviana M  on 8/15/2019 11:06:44 AM

I would like to apply for this scholarship because I want to take advantage of the help that companies are offering. It would not only help me but my mom as well because college a is expensive and being able to apply to this scholarship is a great opportunity. Winning this scholarship can make my college experience so much less stressful. I have always been passionate about school and I want to study engineering after high school.

Pascual C  on 8/13/2019 12:38:24 PM

By applying into this scholarship would help not just myself particularly, as well it would take a hardcore weight over my family's shoulders. With this great opportunity would prove who wrong people was by thinking, just for not being at their social status, you couldn't make it in the greatest way ever possible. I am applying for this magical scholarship, and even if i'm not the winner, i wish so much luck to the fortunate that obtain it.

Elibeth L  on 8/12/2019 1:33:15 PM
