  • Applicants of the Unpublished Writer's Award must email an original, unpublished fiction work (short story or novel excerpt) not to exceed 2,000 typed words on double-spaced pages. Eligible candidates: must be a legal US resident and reside in the US; have a strong connection to identify with the African diaspora; and, be unpublished and not self-published.
