SODA National, in partnership with Hearts for Russ, is awarding five $1,000 scholarships to HBCU students who are passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation and interested in leading peer-to-peer advocacy efforts.
Eligibility
- Must not have previously been awarded a scholarship from SODA National.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University for the coming school year.
Application Process
- Must organize an organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy event by the end of the Fall semester.
- Must attend a virtual networking session in July to connect with their fellow scholarship recipients and a virtual awards ceremony in January of next year to share the impact of their advocacy event.
All application materials must be submitted by June 16th. Please review the scholarship eligibility requirements before applying. Applicants will need to submit an online form and follow all guidelines in order to be considered for one of the five $1,000 scholarships. Scholarship money will be sent directly to each winner's college, university or other accredited educational institution.
