The WMGA Foundation has been supporting young women in their pursuit of higher education since 2001, awarding scholarships to over 115 recipients. These scholarships assist with tuition, room and board, incidental fees, and books, providing vital support for students with financial need and a connection to the game of golf.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must exhibit an interest or association with the game of golf
- Demonstrate financial need through FAFSA, SAR, and tax returns (personal and parental)
- Have applied to or currently attend a university, college, or accredited trade school
- Show scholastic ability through SAT/ACT scores and transcripts
- Display outstanding character, integrity, and leadership
- Reside within the area covered by the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association (60-mile radius of NYC limits and all of Long Island)
- Be available for a personal interview with a Foundation Board member
