HSVMA Compassionate Care Veterinary Student Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The HSVMA Compassionate Care Veterinary Student Scholarships will be awarded to veterinary students who have demonstrated an interest in and commitment to animal welfare, animal rights, or animal protection issues in veterinary medicine. Scholarships will be awarded to three students ($3,000, $2,000 and $1,500 levels). The scholarships are open to students who are currently in their first, second and third years at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, or UK. Because of some confusion regarding eligibility since some students may be transitioning to clinical rotations, any students still attending vet school after the year the scholarship is awarded spring graduation are eligible to apply for the scholarships - students who graduate in spring of the year the scholarship is awarded are not eligible.
