The Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA), the Atlantic Affiliate of USA Hockey, is pleased to offer a scholarship program in memory of Lou Manzione to students who plan to continue their education beyond high school. A total of 2 one thousand dollar non-renewable scholarships are available, one to a female and one to a male New Jersey high school senior who are registered members of USA Hockey and participates on a travel hockey team in the AAHA.
Applicants must be high school seniors who are currently registered with USA Hockey without regard to race, sex, religion or financial need and participate on a travel hockey team in the AAHA. Scholarships are non-renewable and selections made by the scholarship committee are final. Selection will be based on: the student's transcript; recommendation letters; standardized test scores; and a typed essay of 500 words or less on “The Value of Travel Hockey to My Personal Development.”
