Scholarship Description
The Bayar Fellowship aims to empower high school students from marginalized communities and low income backgrounds by providing them with the fundamental tools necessary to become leaders in their communities. To be eligible for The Bayar Fellowship, you must be a high school student who is interested in utilizing business principles to improve your community. The curriculum consists of a variety of concepts – which will be taught through seminars and workshops – intended to build the foundation of some of the most essential principles of a professional.
Since the beginning, the Bayar Fellowship has been working to do things, such as: encourage low-income high school students to develop an understanding of business as they commit themselves to public service; provide a foundation for which financial literacy can be developed; and support recipients throughout their high school, college, and professional journeys by providing them with mentorship, financial support, and a strong network of accomplished peers to help them succeed in their endeavors.
