Scholarship Description
The Exceptional Youth Scholarship (EYS) is a one-time, need-based, $10,000 award that can be used towards college tuition and other attendance-related expenses such as housing, meal plans, books and campus fees at accredited four-year colleges and universities. The Foundation for Global Sports Development is committed to empowering youth through education. Our Exceptional Youth Scholarship recognizes youth who have demonstrated remarkable conduct through community service efforts, volunteerism, and mentorship activities, in addition to achieving outstanding academic performance.
Eligibility: Must be a high school senior at time of application – Scholarships cannot be deferred; Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0; Must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); Must have devoted a minimum of 100 hours to community service, volunteer, or mentorship activities during 4 years of high school; Must be a US citizen or legal resident.
