I applied for this scholarship because college is approaching and it is also very expensive. So I’ve been trying to figure out how could I get into college with little to no money, and presume my dream of being a nurse.

I applied for this scholarship mainly because as college is coming up soon my main concern is how I will pay for college. College is very expensive and I'm hoping I can get a scholarship that can help pay my undergrad at least a good amount so that when I apply to dental school I won't have to worry about coming out with too much debt.

My sister won this scholarship. Well worth the effort.

Coronavirus Stimulus Package: Higher Ed Edition

March 24, 2020

by Susan Dutca-Lovell

Negotiations and proposals for an economic stimulus package are being mulled over by lawmakers, ones that will ultimately affect school and education funding. Currently, student-loan borrowers are able enter forbearance on their student loans for 60 days without accruing interest. The U.S. Department of Education will also suspend student loan payments by borrowers who are over 31 days delinquent.
