The Go Tigers! Scholarship provides a graduating IFHS senior up to $2,000 for tuition and fees after federal grants at any accredited university, community college, or technical school. To qualify for this scholarship, students must meet 3 criteria: be a graduating senior from Idaho Falls High School; have a desire to attend an accredited university, community college or technical school; and demonstrate financial need. Eligible applicants will be evaluated based on their financial need and interview.
In addition to completing the application, applicants must also submit a Student Aid Report from FAFSA, and they must (Interviews will be held in early May.). Awards will be paid directly to the training program, college or university. Scholarships are awarded in May for use in the following fall, winter, spring or summer semesters. If a recipient cannot use the scholarship within that timeframe, they must request a formal deferment by emailing the appropriate contact by April 1st of the following year.
