I applied for this scholarship because in order for me to go to college i need to earn scholarships because its not that my family is poor and I do work but i am not making enough money to go to college so the only way for me to go to college is for me to do scholarships.

I believe that behind every art piece there is a story which makes that a master piece. That art piece has a special connection with the artist as well as who ever is viewing it. There is beauty and mystery in ever masterpiece. Which is why I enjoy making and seeing art because I am able to make some sort of connection and transmit a message through mine as well.

I applied for this scholarship because I love to draw; drawing is my life. Ever since I was in elementary, cartoons have inspired me to draw, my family says that I have a gift and I could make something of it, and I do. I plan to make comics and put my art on t-shirts to sell. My teachers have also noticed my art and said I am very talented. All these feedbacks from family, friends, and teachers has motivated me to work harder, and one day my work will be out there. I don't care what the haters say I will keep drawing because it's my passion.

Scholarships.com's Weird Scholarships Part Two

January 21, 2021

by Izzy Hall

There are a lot of scholarships out there, some more conventional than others. Last time, we discussed a scholarship for students interested in becoming part of the chicken industry, but even that scholarship is far from the weirdest. There are some scholarships out there that have unusual criteria, to say the least. It may be based on something totally out of your control, like your height or last name. It may be awarded on how much you like a card game, or to whomever comes up with the most creative way to use a household product. It may even be for students interested in… potatoes? No joke, these five scholarships are some of the weirder ones on our site. Are you weird enough to apply? [...]
