  • Established in 1973 by the American Radio Relay League, Inc. (ARRL) as an independent and separate 501(c)(3) organization, the ARRL Foundation administers programs to support the Amateur Radio community. The ARRL Foundation advances the art, science and societal benefits of the amateur radio service by awarding financial grants and scholarships to individuals and organizations in support of their charitable, educational and scientific efforts.

    The Atlanta Radio Club Scholarship is a $500 awarded to any active Amateur Radio License Class. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 25 at the time of the award, a resident of Georgia, and pursuing a degree at an accredited four-year college or university or graduate program. Preference will be given to students performing at a high academic level.
    Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA.
