IIASD Serving Others Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota believe in being authentic. We believe in doing the right thing, regardless of the outcome. Most importantly, we believe that fulfillment comes from serving others. Our members take pride in our communities and those we insure. We are pleased to further this service by offering one (1) $10,000 scholarship and four (4) $2,500 scholarships to four eligible South Dakota students.

  The student will pick someone in their community who makes a difference by giving back or volunteering and write a short essay about them. This can be any entity such as a business, individual, public servant, non- profit, etc. These must dropped off in- person to a local IIASD member by April 15th. The 5 students with the winning essays will each be awarded one of the five scholarships. Applicants must be a permanent resident of South Dakota who will be attending an accredited South Dakota higher learning institution for Fall. Applicant must drop application off at IIASD member office.
