NAWIC Chapter #96 Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• Applicant must pursue a career in a construction-related field and can be enrolled full-time or part-time. Applicant must be a resident of Delaware who is 17 years old or older. If awarded, the recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Applicant is responsible for ensuring that the application and all items listed below are received by NAWIC Chapter #96 and postmarked by April 15th. This deadline will be strictly enforced. Must submit completed and signed application and letter of recommendation. Must submit Rating Form completed by your academic advisor and official transcript of grades for three (3) most recent quarters/semesters. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  Scholarships are not automatically renewed, but the student may re-apply for subsequent awards. Applications will be reviewed by the Awards Committee of NAWIC Chapter #96, which will consider the applicant’s interest in construction, grades, extracurricular activities, employment experience, evaluations, and financial needs. Applicants will be notified of their status after the Awards Committee meeting in late April. A check will be awarded to the selected recipient of the scholarship at the end of the quarter/semester. The recipient must present their report card and maintain a 2.5 GPA for reimbursement. If the recipient fails to maintain a 2.5 GPA, the eligibility of the award is voided.
