Scholarship Description

The Ruth Cheatham Foundation (TRCF) Scholarship Program is dedicated to providing long-term support to teen cancer survivors from low-income families. Recognizing the financial devastation that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis, TRCF focuses on empowering young cancer patients and their families by facilitating access to higher education. The scholarship program offers four years of support to scholars pursuing education through accredited undergraduate schools or trade schools.


• Cancer patients and survivors aged 17-26. • Applicants should demonstrate a desire to continue their education through an accredited undergraduate school or trade school. • Targeted towards individuals from low-income families disproportionately affected by their cancer diagnosis. • Must be a full-time student (enrolled in 24 credit hours a year). • US resident.
