In the summer of 2016, I came out before I was ready. Fast forward to four years later having been emotionally abused by my own parents because of sexuality, I removed myself from their home and continue on my path to reaching my goals. This scholarship would help me get further along as I continue my studies and my stand to support all those who are apart fo the LGBTQ community.

I'm not exactly a part of the LGBT Community but I'm a big supporter of the community, as well I'm a nontraditional christian that supports gay marriage and adoption. Which tends to get me a lot of hate because most of the christian community is very judgmental. I just wanted to say that there's at least one christian supporter over here that believes the LGBT Community deserves the same rights as straight couples. Love is love and that's all that should matter.

Morgan D  on 1/18/2019 12:32:02 PM

My sibling is identified as transmasculine so I have been a great supporter in his discovery and journey .

I will be sure to enter! I love finding unusual scholarships, that still apply and mean something to me. Thank you for supprting LGBTQ students.

it is not only for LGBT students. but you must at least show that you have supported LGBT rights in some way
