Spectrum Scholars awards qualified rising college juniors with financial need $20,000 in scholarships over their junior and senior year. Selected Scholars will participate in a structured, two-year program focusing on professional development and a potential career at Charter Communications Inc. Students will also receive a professional career mentor and opportunity to explore an internship at Charter.
Scholars must be rising Juniors at the time of their application (i.e. Juniors starting in their Fall 2020 term).
Scholars must be full-time students attending an accredited college/university or the student’s permanent residence within Charter’s 41-state service footprint; or in the company’s corporate headquarter cities including Washington, DC; Denver, Colorado; or Stamford, Connecticut (see eligible states/territories within our footprint here).
If you have any technical difficulties with the footprint website, please visit spectrum.com and input your permanent address and/or school address in the banner section of the home page where it says “enter your address for best offers." Once you click “Shop,” it will tell you if the address is part of the Spectrum service area.
Scholars must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and identify as Asian or Pacific Islander. Students within these communities who also identify as LGBTQ, students with disabilities or students with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Scholars must qualify for need-based scholarships based upon unmet financial need. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
