To apply for the Brenda Brown DeSatnick Memorial Scholarship, you must be a female former graduate of any high school in the United States or have attained a high school equivalency diploma (GED). Preference will be given to current residents of Lancaster County, Nebraska, although women in broader Nebraska may apply. The applicant must be a woman over the age of 25, planning to attend a qualified, accredited 2-year community college or trade school or 4-year college or university. Applicants must show an interest in becoming self-supporting and independent. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
