I've always been interested in marine life, and I've found it a coping strategy to my mental health and I thought this scholarship can help me show that in a healthy way. Also it is painful to know that there isnt enough awareness on the oceans and lakes and how much climate change has changed the lives of the ones who cant speak up, so ill be honored to express all of that.

I've always been so intrigued with marine life. Not just saltwater but freshwater as well. This is an amazing scholarship opportunity and I will enjoy making my piece for this greatly.

For years I was always afraid of doing what I wanted to be afraid of helping animals or ect. I'm 17 years old a senior in high school I grew up knowing what I wanted to be going out in the world helping the ocean and helping sea creatures that need my help. Many people in this world don't even care what's going on around them with the ocean and some sea creatures are about to go extinct. I been told I should do something else beside being a marine biologists but my goal in life was going out to help someone or the sea creatures or ect. I realize that once I got older no one get to choose who you want to be sometimes it's not all about how much you make to me all I care about is helping in this world even if it's something small and simple that small thing can change and make a difference in this world. So I would love to help out and save the ocean and sea creatures with it.

I always wanted to become a Marine Biologist. Ever since I was young I always wanted to go look in the water to find life. That was just my happy land. In the past years, my parents said: "you know I think you should become a marine biologist." Then it clicked. I have taught many classes and made multiple videos to show how the ocean gets affected. This is my biggest passion and every time I go to the beach you will never see me there without a trash bag cleaning up plastic and other harmful toxins marine life can digest.
