  • Scholarship Description
  • The Channel Counties Chapter of the California Society of CPAs is proud to announce its Scholarship Award Program. Scholarships will be awarded to students with interest in pursuing professional careers in the accounting field.

    Eligibility:
    -Enrolled in an accounting program at a four-year college/university or a community college located in Santa Barbara or Ventura counties, or an extension curriculum in Santa Barbara or Ventura counties with 20 units completed and be enrolled in the Certificate of Accounting Program
    -Completed general education requirements with an overall GPA and accounting GPA of 3.0 or higher
    -Applicants must be members of CalCPA (membership is free)
    -Applicants may not have applied for a concurrent CalCPA scholarship from another chapter
    -Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
