  • Scholarship Description
  • To apply for the CalCPA Sacramento Chapter Scholarship, candidates must be full or part-time students with a declared accounting major or an emphasis in accounting (if a community college student). The school must be located within the CalCPA Sacramento Chapter geographical boundaries (Southern borders of Napa, Yolo, Sacramento, Amador, Alpine & Solano counties, north to the Oregon border and east to the Nevada border, excluding the coastal counties of San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt & Del Norte counties). Private and state colleges, as well as those studying for their master's, are encouraged to apply.

    Eligibility:
    Scholarship applicants attending a community college must have a minimum enrollment or successfully completed financial and managerial accounting. Winners will be asked to submit final grades if they are showing enrolled at the time of application. Community college students will need to be transferring or graduating within the next 18 months.

    Graduating seniors in spring and staff accountants are only eligible for the review course scholarship.
