  • Scholarship Description
  • Each year, the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois distributes more than $200,000 in scholarship funding to local students. All of CFNIL's scholarship funds were created by individuals or organizations that recognize the importance of helping students achieve their educational goals, now and in perpetuity. The funds' creators selected the criteria for each scholarship, based on their interests and the community's need. Many of CFNIL's scholarships are memorial scholarships, which celebrate the life and passions of an individual. This award is offered by Zeta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma.

    Eligibility:
    -Applicant must be a female graduating from a public high school within Boone or Winnebago County
    -Plans to pursue a degree in secondary teaching
    -Exhibits academic potential
    -Has participated in a number of high school activities
