  • Scholarship Description
  • Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships works with 30 other organizations who also award automotive scholarships to full time students training for automotive careers as technicians or in business, engineering, etc. Students must be attending or be high school graduating seniors planning to attend any accredited college or university or any ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary school for automotive mechanical, collision, or heavy duty training.

    Last year, more than 350 scholarships for more than $400,000 were awarded, and a similar number are planned for the coming year. Apply on line at the scholarship provider's website. You must submit a complete application (including school transcripts and at least one reference letter) before the deadline of 3/31. Your one application will be considered by every participating organization where you meet their eligibility requirements. Last year, more than 50 students received multiple awards from their one application.

Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern. The charges have since been dropped and in a reversal, the woman was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct.
