I am applying for this scholarship because I want to be an inspiration to my kids, as they have always looked up to me. I currently attend Liberty University working on my BS in Psychology. After the loss of my oldest son who was murdered 10 years ago at the age of 4 and losing my mother to cancer at the age of 49 recently, I thought I would never go back to school, however, I'm still pushing. Financially things is hard, I'm paying what I can for school, I'm a single mother raising my kids working a full time job as an emergency responder. Please help me pay for school. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this as this was very hard for me to write.
