Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs provides scholarships twice each year to students pursuing degrees or certifications that will lead to manufacturing careers. Since 1990, Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs has awarded scholarships to students majoring in programs that lead to careers in manufacturing. Scholarships are awarded in the spring and fall of each year.
Eligibility
- You must be pursuing a degree or certification in one of the approved fields of study for NBT scholarship consideration.
- Only full-time students (12 credit hours or more) or part-time students (minimum of 6 credit hours if also working while attending school) currently enrolled in or who plan to enroll in a certificate or degree program leading to a career in manufacturing should apply.
- Minimum GPA (4.0 scale) is 2.5 for students attending trade, community or technical colleges and 3.0 for students attending universities.
- Your transcript and application must be received by the deadline
Application Requirements
- Submit an online application.
- Submit an official high school or college transcript from the school where you most recently completed a semester. You will be allowed to upload your transcript with your application, or you may choose to use an electronic transcript service such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse. Only transcripts received with the application or postmarked by the application deadline will be accepted. Submit transcripts via mail to Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs. Please allow ample time for delivery.
- Application review and scholarship award decisions will take place in October/November for spring terms and in April/May for summer/fall terms.
