  • Scholarship Description
  • The Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship was created to honor former ACWA Executive Director Steve Hall upon his retirement. The $7,000 scholarship is presented annually to a qualified graduate student majoring in law, policy or public administration with a focus or concentration in California water resources.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be attending an accredited, public or private U.S. college at the start of the academic year
    -Must be pursuing a graduate degree (masters, Ph.D., or law school) in water law and policy or public administration with a demonstrated concentration in the field of water resources
    -Must commit to full-time enrollment for the entire academic year

I have marked that I am interested in this scholarship. I am planning on going into law and would love to work with in the water system. This has been an issue within California for years and is only getting worse. I would very blessed and grateful if I was awarded this scholarship, which can be used to put my self through law school. I applied for this scholarships because I need a help. Through this scholarships, I should be able to complete my degree and create social changes in my community through policy changes.

Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern.
