  • Scholarship Description
  • The Hudson County Bar Foundation will award scholarships to students who are attending law school or who have been accepted to law school for the coming September term.

    The Hudson County Bar Foundation Scholarship Fund is one of the oldest providers of financial assistance to Hudson County law students. Esteemed members and families of the Hudson County legal community have funded these 44 scholarships.

    Students must be bona fide residents of Hudson County; must demonstrate financial need; must provide two (2) current Letters of Recommendation and must account for appropriate academic standards.

Newbury College Closing Shortly After Enrolling Mount Ida Students

Before joining a group of small private liberal arts institutions that had to close its doors due to financial pressures and falling enrollment, Newbury College encouraged students from defunct Mount Ida College to transfer over. The hope was that the addition of students to Newbury's campus would be enough to allow the school to continue its educational mission. Blind NY Resident Suing 50 US Colleges

A blind New York resident is suing 50 colleges nationwide over the accessibility of their websites. According to Jason Camacho, the "colleges are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as their websites are not accessible to people with disabilities." This is not the first time Camacho has sued higher education institutions over website accessibility. [...]
