  • The Melanie Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a candidate pursuing a doctoral or master's degree in the mental health field. Applicant must be currently enrolled or accepted into a graduate program majoring in the mental health field in the United States and demonstrate experience and interest in one or more of the ideals to which Melanie Merola O’Donnell committed herself. The scholarship will be awarded to a candidate for one year. Candidates may reapply for additional years. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.

I am a Canadian resident, and I will be attending Niagara University in Lewiston New York. I have been accepted into the Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counceling program and will start this September. I am wondering if I would qualify to apply for this scholarship? I applied to this scholarship because I am working on my doctorate in psychology. I am a behavioral therapist working with children with autism. My financial is almost run out, so unless I figure something out soon, I will not be able to continue my degree program. I should be able to obtain my BCBA by the end of the year, resulting in a bump in pay, but there will be two school quarters in between where I have no idea how I will pay my tuition. I want to continue learning and be on the cutting edge of my field.

I did not apply for this scholarship because I have not yet finished my undergraduate courses. I am looking for scholarships to help me complete my undergraduate studies so that I can obtain my educational goal of earning a Masters in Psychology. I want to specialize in counseling and addictions. I have found that I have a great passion for working with victims of sexual abuse/assault.

Ms. Sanita: My name is Gregg Ramsdell and a retired member from the US Army. For the past 31 years I have seen those around me and as I rose through the ranks, those who I have commanded. I am in need for a scholarship for the use in Psychology with a focus on PTSD. I am a 100 percent service connected disabled with multiple combat tours. I feel I can really assist the younger soldiers, law enforcement and other servants in understanding this affliction and be able to live like normal. My name is Sally Njaga from Kenya,and l seriously need a scholarship to study an online Masters degree on Psychology. I am already accepted to join classes on 31st August 2015 at Walden University MD. and l do not have funds to pay for the education. I am therefore requesting for a scholarship. I am a retired person and my income cannot pay for this education. After l am educated l want to work as a volunteers in behavior change in my community. Please I seriously need to be educated for this noble task. I have a degree in Theology. Please help.
