  • Scholarship Description
  • The Melanie Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a candidate pursuing a doctoral or master's degree in the mental health field.

    Eligibility:
    -Currently enrolled or accepted into a graduate program majoring in the mental health field in the United States
    -Programs must be accredited by the credentialing agency appropriate to the field of study
    -Provide evidence of past involvement in extracurricular, volunteer, research, and/or career-related activities
    -Demonstrate experience and interest in one or more of the ideals to which Melanie Merola O’Donnell committed herself

    The scholarship will be awarded to a candidate for one year. Candidates may reapply for additional years. Scholarship recipients will be personally notified and publicly announced in June. All other applicants will be notified electronically.

My name is Sally Njaga from Kenya,and l seriously need a scholarship to study an online Masters degree on Psychology. I am already accepted to join classes on 31st August 2015 at Walden University MD. and l do not have funds to pay for the education. I am therefore requesting for a scholarship. I am a retired person and my income cannot pay for this education. After l am educated l want to work as a volunteers in behavior change in my community. Please I seriously need to be educated for this noble task. I have a degree in Theology. Please help.
