  • Scholarship Description
  • WOCN Society Accredited Nursing Education Scholarships are awarded to deserving individuals committed to working within the wound, ostomy and continence nursing specialty. Applicants agree to support the WOCN Society philosophy and scope of practice. Applicant must be seeking education in wound, ostomy and continence nursing care.

    Must be accepted to a WOCN-accredited Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) or Specialty Course or be enrolled in a WOCN-accredited WOCNEP or Specialty Course or have a certificate of completion from a WOCN-accredited WOCNEP or Specialty Course, within three months of graduation. Protest at Johns Hopkins U Over Proposed Private Police Force

Student at Johns Hopkins University have staged a month-long sit-in at Garland Hall, JHU’s main administrative building, to protest the university's plans for a private police force, which was recently approved by the Maryland General Assembly. The university has had to suspend financial aid, disability, academic advising, and international services due to the protest's complete blockage. The protesting students are also demanding that JHU cancel its contracts with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and eight students even chained themselves to Garland Hall. [...]
