I decided to apply for this scholarship because I am a single teen mother who is struggling but wants to go to college and doesn't want to let the opportunity get away solely because I had a kid. I think I can get further in life along with my kid.

I applied for this scholarship because I am looking for a way to pay for college because my current situtation finanically is not the best. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment with 5 other people barely making ends meet. And we are struggling finanically. I plan to major in neuroscience and become a neurologist. From a younger age, I always had a deep fascination with the human body more specifically the human brain.
