  • Scholarship Description
  • The Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship is for those scoring 32 on the ACT or 1410 on the SAT, and a 3.5 academic grade point average, or are named National Merit Finalists or National Achievement Scholar pays tuition, mandatory fees, room and board up to $10,000 per year.

    Upon receipt of a Governor’s Scholars application by February 1st, Governor’s Distinguished Scholars automatically receive an award equal to tuition, mandatory fees and room and board up to $10,000 per year at any Arkansas institution. Other applicants who are chosen as Governor’s Scholars receive an award of $4,000 per year.
