  • The Ann Crawford Alexander family has established a scholarship in loving memory of Ann who passed away July 23rd, 2008 at the age of 25 after a lifelong battle against cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disorder.Family and friends of Ann have contributed to a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 that will be awarded annually. The scholarship will be divided into two payments at the end of the first and second semesters at the school of the recipient's choice.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be a Lexington high school graduate or graduating senior or homeschool graduate from the Lexington Community
    -Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
    -Must demonstrate qualities of good character, leadership, and Christian faith
    -Must demonstrate community involvement and/or continuing education endeavors

    Applicants must also write a 250-word (or less) testimony of how Jesus Christ has impacted their lives.

    Recipients must be enrolled with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and must be enrolled for a consecutive semester. Failure to maintain the expected GPA will result in a probationary term.
