  • Scholarship Description
  • The Foundation annually awards three (3) $4,000 scholarships to children or grandchildren of contributing member banks' employees, directors, or officers and part-time bank employees. The students must be entering their freshman year of higher education. Each scholarship is $1,000 per year for up to four years of higher education if the child remains eligible via grades and full-time student status. The scholarships are sponsored by SHAZAM, BancVue, and Community BancService Corporation (CBSC).

    Eligible Banks: CBAI member banks contributing or pledging a cumulative minimum of $2,500 to the Foundation.

    Eligible Students: The children and grandchildren of eligible CBAI-member bank employees, directors, and officers, and part-time bank employees who are entering their first year of undergraduate school or accredited trade school as full-time students.

    Submission: A bank can submit one student's name for $2,500 contributed or pledged to the Foundation. Additional contributions may result in the bank's ability to submit more than one name per bank; contact the CBAI Department of Communications for details. Contributions are cumulative and applied from the establishment of the Foundation.
