Up until the age of 12, my family owned a cattle farm. I prided myself in being able to trust and care for these large animals. The drought of 2013 forced us to sell our herd. I can recall being completely shattered, as my families business was a large part of who I was as a person. I am now 21, and have started slowly building a herd of my own. As much as I am loving taking on cattle farming during this chapter of my life, I have found the starting expenses to be quite overwhelming. These expenses are not possible while trying to pay for college. Obtaining this scholarship would help make it possible for me to maintain my cattle business while going to school.

By being able to obtain this scholarship it will allow me to pursue a degree in agriculture to help earn a degree that will allow me to learn more about the pursuit of farming and teaching. By being able to work and study hard to obtain a degree that can bring everything I learn through the 4 years college back to my farm, classroom and home. Every year there are more and more advances being made to better grow and supply the human population and be able to share my love for agriculture with other students who would love to further there career in agriculture and animal science. being able to receive this scholarship will allow me to further my career in something I love and enjoy without stressing about paying college.

By being able to obtain this scholarship it will allow me to pursue a degree in agriculture to help earn a degree that will allow me to learn more about the pursuit of farming. By being able to obtain a degree I can bring everything I learn through college back to my farm and give it a leg up in this new day and age of farming. Every year there are more and more advances being made to better grow and supply the human population and I would very much enjoy learning all that I can to better be able to supply our world with high-quality beef.

It Is my dream and it is my duty to become a business owner of a cattle ranch. I dream that my ranch will be well known over the nation and that the beef I raise will be the best of it's kind. I work hard, I do what needs to get done, and I am honest in my work. I dream of being the typical cattle women that history talks about throughout life's decades. I aspire to make myself proud and live out the American West legacy. It would mean a great deal of honor to me if I won this Scholarship because it will help me pay for the Agriculture Business classes I need.

My desire is to obtain sufficient scholarship funds to allow me to pursue an education that prepares me to eventually manage facilities that house rodeos and cattle auctions along with other sporting events. I appreciate the opportunity you present to offer that potential. Doing so allows some of us that are finding it difficult to plan for funding a boost.

I would be very honored if I get this scholarship since I've been applying for years and I've never gotten a scholarship and I recently started applying again since I'm transferring to a new University and that means it is going to be very hard for me to pay everything so I've been trying to apply for everything. I hope I get it!
