"In every conceivable manner, family is the link to our past and the bridge to our future," -Alex Haley. My parents have always believed I have an innate ability to enact change. From my earliest stages in life, my parents set me on a path to success forged through hard work and persistence. My name is Noah Dial. My experiences throughout high school have given me a broader vision of my future. Success is triumphing over hardships -- willing yourself over anything and everything to achieve the best for yourself and your family. With this scholarship, I will use it to continue focusing on my college career. In addition, it will be an investment in myself for my family.

Hello! My name is Anna Drebes and I am a senior at Highland High School in Ewing, MO. I am applying for this scholarship to help with college's financial burdens. I am a part of many different organizations and activities within my school and community. The following organizations I am actively in are; Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Future Farmers of America (FFA), Student Council, History Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), National Honors Society (NHS), and lastly, softball. I also run my own small business. I am planning in the near future to open a brick and mortar. I am encouraging young minds like myself to start a project like such. It takes a lot of responsibility and leadership to own and run a business. I have a cumulative 3.52 g.p.a. on a 4-point scale and am a graduating 2023 senior. I have a single mother who parents 3 children, including myself, and cannot afford the financial hardship for me to attend college. Thank you for your time and for considering me for this scholarship.

I'm an African American, came to United State few month ago in search for a proper education and better life. I faced lot of issues with my transcript when I came, but finally I was told I will be graduating this year(2019). I was sad instead of being joyful. I looked up at different colleges tuition and noticed that my family will rot in poverty if they were to pay for this tuition with two of sisters left to take care of. One thing I was told before coming to U.S was that there are lot of opportunities for those who are ready to study. I made up mind never to miss none the opportunity; I asked for what is required of me and I was told GPA, which is what I'm trying to improve. I can't express how grateful I would be, if any of these opportunity happen comes to me. Thanks
