  • Scholarship Description
  • CRC is a non-profit organization that brings together corporations and global relocation service providers in Chicago for the primary purpose of providing educational information and current industry updates to its members. School can be a very important part of the relocation process for children moving into the Chicagoland area.

As part of our commitment to Global Relocation, CRC is sponsoring a scholarship program for current high school seniors who relocated into the Chicagoland area at some point between grades 9-12. CRC would like to encourage your students to apply for this scholarship on-line. Two one-time awards of $1,000 will be presented to Chicago-area high school seniors this year. The award will be sent to the college the student has chosen to attend, to assist with tuition, and so forth

CRC will select scholarship winners based on the strength of their total application package. The student will be evaluated on academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and on their response to an essay addressing the way they handled the challenges associated with relocating to a new area and a new high school.

February 27, 2019

by Susan Dutca

Almost three-fourths of people surveyed by the Pew Research Center are against consideration of race when it comes to college admissions decisions. Only 7 percent believe it should be a major factor and 19 percent say it should be a minor factor.
