  • Scholarship Description
  • The Youth in Construction Committee oversees and carries out the ISA Scholarship Program, provides project tours, office tours and other "real world" educational opportunities for those going into the construction industry and provides an avenue to locate internships.

    Eligibility:
    -Seniors in high school, students in college (freshman-juniors) or ISA member employees entering further construction training
    -Focus is on students who wish to enter a construction-oriented program
    -Student must be a U.S. citizen or documented permanent resident of the U.S.

    Criteria after scholarship awarded:
    -Student must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or equivalent
    -Student must enter an accredited trade program, 2-year or 4-year college or university
    -Student must provide evidence that the degree program they are pursuing indicates focus in an accredited construction-related academic program
