  • Scholarship Description
  • The JVS Scholarship Program provides qualified Jewish students whose primary residence is in Los Angeles with need-based financial aid, in the belief that education represents the first step to career success.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be Jewish
    -16 years old or older
    -Permanent and legal resident of Los Angeles County for at least 3 years
    -U.S. citizen or documented legal permanent resident (green card)
    -Planning to attend an accredited public or private college/university or trade/technical school full-time (including grad students)
    -Minimum 2.7 GPA for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students
    -Demonstrated financial need

Atheist Scholarships Not Welcome in CA School District

California's Antelope Valley School District banned atheist scholarships from being listed on student publications and must now pay $10,000 in legal fees.
