- Incoming freshman status
- Recipient of one of the following awards:
- Eagle Scout Award
- Venturing Silver Award
- Sea Scouting Quartermaster Award
- Trail Life Freedom Award
- GSUSA Gold Award
- Ambassador Award
- American Heritage Girls Stars and Stripes Award
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Live on-campus during the scholarship period
