Nexstar Legacy Foundation Management in Plumbing, HVAC or Electrical Scholarships

The Nexstar Legacy Foundation Management in Plumbing, HVAC or Electrical Scholarships are designed for students intending a career in management in a business focused on plumbing, HVAC or electrical. This includes people intending to own and operate their own business as well as people planning to work in marketing, accounting, mechanical engineering, operations or other related position within this type of business. Applicants must plan to attend school full-time for the entire academic year.


This category includes the following scholarships:
- The Frank Blau Jr. Scholarship ($6,000): This scholarship is permanently funded by the foundation and offered each year. It is based on merit and open to all students who meet the eligibility requirements.
- The George Brazil Scholarship ($5,000): This scholarship is offered this year only. It is based on merit and open to all students who meet the eligibility requirements.
- Jill Pomroy Reed Woman in Business Scholarship ($2,000): This scholarship is funded by individual donors and will be offered while funds are available. It is available only to women who are planning a career in marketing in the plumbing, HVAC or electrical industries.
