  • Scholarship Description
  • Hank LeBonne was a man who loved life and loved the National Federation of the Blind. His last wish was that his remaining assets be used to help young blind men and women have the same opportunities in life he enjoyed. No additional restrictions.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be legally blind
    -Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a United States institution in the fall of the 2008-2009 academic year, except that one scholarship may be given to a person employed full-time while attending school part-time
    -Must be willing and able to participate in the entire NFB national convention and in all scheduled scholarship program activities
