USBC Annual Zeb Scholarship

The Annual Zeb Scholarship is awarded to a USBC Youth member who achieves academic success and gives back to his/her community through service. One person will be selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship, which will be managed through the SMART program. The Annual Zeb Scholarship will be formally presented at the USBC Junior Gold Championships award ceremony. USBC will pay travel and hotel expenses for the winner and one parent/guardian to attend the award ceremony. The selection is based on the candidate’s grades, academic and community involvement, letters of reference and essay. The Annual Zeb Scholarship commemorates the dedication and enthusiasm for youth bowling exemplified by Jim Zebehazy.


To be eligible for this award, applicant must:
- Be in junior or senior year of high school
- Be a USBC Youth member in good standing
- Have a current GPA of 3.0 or better, based on a 4.0 scale
- Complete application
- Include at least two letters of reference (by a teacher, principal, employer, etc.)
- Include an official or unofficial school transcript
- Return all completed documentation and application to USBC post-marked no later than December 1st. (Partial or incomplete applications will not be accepted)
