For more than 50 years, the Georgia Engineering Foundation has sponsored a program that awards college scholarships to worthy Georgia students who are preparing for a career in engineering or engineering technology. Since 1985, nearly 1000 students have been awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. All scholarships are competitively awarded based on the student’s demonstrated competence in academics, interest in developing a career in engineering, financial need, and school and community involvement.
To be eligible, a student must be interested in a career in engineering or engineering technology and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the state of Georgia, and be enrolled in an collegiate program accredited by: ABET: Engineering programs (required for all scholarships except AACE scholarship), ACCE: Construction programs (required for the AACE Scholarship). Individual scholarship criteria varies.
