Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. The Glenn Mayer Memorial Fund was established to honor students of Carrollton High School with exemplary sportsmanship and integrity. To be eligible, applicants must be graduating high school seniors, and be pursuing an undergraduate degree or Career and Technical Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation). Evaluation criteria will include: sportsmanship and integrity; and involvement in community service and extracurricular activities. Applicants must include a letter of recommendation. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
