Scholarship Description
Greenhouse Scholars is a diverse community of leaders working together to ensure people of all backgrounds can live a life of their choosing. Our Whole Person Program provides personal, professional, and financial advice through 7 components. This program is 5 years in length during your undergraduate years.

Amplifying your college education, the addition of our Whole Person program has proven to accelerate our Scholars’ ability to solve problems, overcome adversity, and take control of events that occur in their lives, allowing them greater self-confidence, self-determination, and self-efficacy. Ultimately, we are cultivating leaders who are creating and inspiring change in their own backyards, and around the world.
Our unique Whole Person approach includes the following for selected Scholars during college: one-on-one pairing with a mentor, access to a professional networking program, an annual world class leadership-training symposium, internship support, community impact, and flexible funding grants to pay for unique experiences and opportunities. We also provide a 4-year renewable, need-based college scholarship of up to $5,000 per year.
Eligible Students must: be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution; Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, or North Carolina; Have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above; Demonstrate financial need; Possess excellent leadership skills, an ability to persevere through difficult circumstances, and a strong interest in and commitment to their community.
