  • Since our founding, we have remained steadfast in our purpose and have seen a resurgence of interest in acquiring accurate and inspiring information about historical figures. The principal beneficiaries of the Foundation’s programs are the nation’s schoolchildren. In our important scholarship program, the Foundation has awarded grants from $500 to $5,000 to several hundred high school seniors from across the United States who are planning a career in government service and show particular interest in moral courage, character, and duty to state and country. The Foundation has awarded $1,942,750 to help these students pursue their goals.

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the annual National Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship Awards for students completing twelfth grade (or final high school year) who are planning careers in government service. Scholarship applicants must be citizens of the United States. The Trustees and Members of the Foundation, mindful of the significance of the important event in our nation’s history that occurred at Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, believe that if our country is to continue to progress, we must have thoroughly trained, dedicated young people to carry on our government’s work in future years.
