  • Kids' Chance of Michigan is one of more than 48 state chapters associated with Kids’ Chance of America, a national organization. At Kids' Chance of Michigan we’re dedicated to helping Michigan kids who need it most – those who need assistance for college or vocational education because a parent has been killed or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident. Our mission is to raise funds to provide need based scholarships to qualifying kids ages 17-22 to pursue their educational dreams at a college, community college, trade or vocational school in Michigan.

    Kids’ Chance of Michigan is dedicated to helping Michigan kids who need it most – those who need assistance for college or vocational education because a parent has been killed or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident. Applicants must be a Michigan resident between the ages of 17-22, and must demonstrate financial need related to the parent's injury/death. Funds may be used at any accredited college, community college, trade or vocational school within Michigan. Applications are accepted year round. I really need this scholarship my mom was made fully disabled because she was injured at work, which resulted in her not being able to no longer work, and that was the only income coming into our household. So I really need this money so much, please!!!!!

I applied because I had a parent get killed and I this money will really help me keep my promise to parent that I will go to college
