  • Scholarship Description
  • The eligible Michigan Youth Livestock Scholarship Fund applicant must be a graduating high school senior or a high school graduate continuing their education at an accredited institution in the year in which they are applying, and a resident of Michigan. For the MYLSF Scholarship they must be a youth exhibitor at the Michigan State Fair, the Michigan Livestock Expo or the Michigan Dairy Expo for a minimum of three calendar years prior to the year of application. For the Statewide Scholarship they must be a youth exhibitor at a local, county, state-wide exhibition or state fair for a minimum of three years prior to the year of application. Many colleges have waived SAT and ACT score requirements for high school seniors currently applying to college due to how difficult it has been to sign up for standardized testing during the coronavirus pandemic. Now some colleges are also waiving standardized test score requirements when awarding merit scholarships to incoming students.
