i am applying this scholarship to help my mother and my father because they cant afford to let me go in college , and the reason why i applying this because i want my goals and dreams come true and also to help my family because my fathers only job is the tuba gatherer and my mother is just a house wife i want to help my father if i find a professional job i don't want to see my father climbing a coconut tree anymore i want to give them a better life and i want to give way back their sacrifices for us i am the only one who still studying i have 4 siblings but the 4 of then didn't finished the study my sister and two brother have a family already i am the only one hope of my mother and my father that's why i will do my best to finish my studies. thank u

I am applying for this scholarship because I like that it helps young people in need. I am an older adult, but I just need $550 to make my payment for my next semester. I have received all A's while getting my AA, and now in my first semester as a junior, my grades are still A's. I just really want to carry on with my education.

I am applying for this scholarship because I work part time and pay my own college expenses. I live with my parents so they help cover other costs like my car insurance, etc. Working part time and paying or college is difficult. I am only able to take 2-3 classes a semester because I don't have the financial means to pay for more. This scholarship would help greatly!

I wish the University of West Florida was one of the schools listed above! But, FAMU is mentioned, which is awesome, because I'm considering applying for that school! :) I'm considering applying for this scholarship too!
